The Experts du Patrimoine directory was designed to help individuals more easily identify professionals in wealth advice, asset management, insurance or investment. Our aim is simple: to provide a directory that is as reliable, transparent and useful as possible for visitors. To achieve this, every profile in the directory undergoes several stages of verification.
Profiles voluntarily submitted by professionals
Most profiles in the directory are
submitted directly by the professionals themselves
. Wealth advisers, asset management companies, brokers, insurance agents, specialist firms and lawyers can request a profile to present their activities, expertise and contact details.
This approach allows professionals to update their own information and accurately present their activities. It does not, however, mean that submitted information is published automatically.
Several checks are carried out before final publication.
Checking the business’s legal existence
The first step is to check the business’s legal existence.
We check in particular that the company or firm has a valid SIREN or SIRET number and is properly registered with INSEE. This confirms that the business legally exists and is identified in French administrative registers.
This is an essential first filter to prevent non-existent entities or clearly incorrect information from appearing.
Checking registration with ORIAS
Many wealth professionals operate under regulated statuses: financial investment adviser, insurance broker, banking intermediary and others.
For these activities, registration with ORIAS, the French register body for insurance, banking and finance intermediaries, is mandatory. When a profile is created or updated, we check that the professional is registered with ORIAS and that the registration matches the declared activity.
Where information is available, the different regulatory statuses may also be checked, including:
- Financial investment adviser (CIF)
- Insurance intermediary (IAS)
- Intermediary in banking transactions and payment services (IOBSP)
- Other regulated financial sector statuses
These checks help establish that the professional operates within a recognised regulatory framework.
Checking regulatory authorisations
In some cases, professionals in the directory also hold authorisations issued by regulators, particularly the French financial markets authority, AMF, for asset management companies or certain investment firms.
When this information is public and available, it can be checked to confirm that the stated regulatory authorisations actually exist.
Identifying professional associations
Many wealth professionals belong to recognised
professional associations or organisations
.
These bodies play an important role in regulating the sector by supervising their members, providing training and ensuring compliance with professional ethics rules.
When information is available, we also indicate the professional association to which the professional belongs. This may include representative organisations in wealth advice, insurance, finance or property.
This gives visitors another indicator to help them understand the adviser’s professional framework.
Including Google reviews
To provide visitors with additional insight, some profiles may also display the firm’s or company’s Google rating.
These public reviews offer an overview of experiences shared by clients or partners. They do not replace personal analysis or direct discussion with the professional, but provide another indicator for forming an initial impression.
Regular random checks
Beyond the initial checks, occasional checks may be carried out on some profiles.
These checks may take different forms:
- email contact
- telephone call
- request to confirm information
- checking certain public data
These random checks help ensure that directory information remains consistent and up to date.
A directory designed to remain reliable
Our aim is to
provide a clear, reputable and useful directory
that helps individuals more easily identify wealth professionals.
Despite these checks, some information may become outdated or need updating. Firms’ activities evolve, regulatory statuses may change and certain details may be modified over time.
That is why we encourage professionals to update their profiles regularly and notify us of any significant change.

to help individuals navigate a sometimes complex field more easily.
