ANACOFI: a leading organization for wealth management and financial consulting professionals
ANACOFI is one of the leading professional organizations representing players in financial, insurance, banking, and real estate consulting in France. Since its inception, the association’s mission has been to support and represent consulting professionals to enable them to practice their activities under the best conditions, in compliance with regulations and in the interest of the clients they advise.
ANACOFI plays a central role in the wealth management consulting ecosystem by ensuring the representation of wealth management professions before public authorities, regulators, and national and international institutions. It is particularly active in areas related to the status of Financial Investment Advisor (CIF), as well as with insurance, credit, and real estate intermediaries. This representation helps defend the interests of the profession while contributing to the evolution of the regulatory framework applicable to consulting and intermediation activities.
The organization is based on an original structure that combines two complementary approaches. On one hand, an organization by profession, corresponding to the various activities carried out by sector professionals, such as wealth management consulting, corporate finance consulting, or wealth engineering. On the other hand, an organization by regulatory status, as defined by law and recognized by supervisory authorities, notably CIF status for finance, banking operations intermediary, or insurance intermediary.
To represent these various activities, several specialized associations and unions have been created within the organization, including ANACOFI-CIF and ANACOFI-Courtage. These structures ensure representation tailored to the specificities of each profession while benefiting from the collective strength of the confederation.
Over the years, ANACOFI has established itself as one of the most representative organizations in the sector. Today, it brings together several thousand companies and firms, representing tens of thousands of financial and wealth management consulting professionals in France. The association also participates in numerous professional and institutional bodies, both nationally and internationally, thus contributing to discussions on the evolution of finance and wealth management professions.
As part of the Wealth Management Experts Championship, ANACOFI’s presence among the partners highlights the importance of the wealth management advisor community in this initiative. By supporting the championship, the organization helps promote the expertise of wealth management professionals and encourages exchanges regarding investment strategies and financial market analysis.
