Championship FAQ

The following will be displayed on your profile if you choose to:

• The value of your portfolio
• Your portfolio’s performance (percentage and amount)
• Available cash in your portfolio
• Your positions
• Your biography (if you write one)

Initial Capital

Each participant starts with a fictitious capital of €1,000,000.

Authorized Investment Vehicles

Investments can only be made in the vehicles offered on the competition platform, namely:

• Stocks
• Diversified Funds (UCITS, SICAVs)
• Cryptocurrencies
• Others (yield programs, structured products, etc.)

Prohibited Instruments:

• Derivatives (options, CFDs, Futures)
• Short selling
• Leverage

Allocation Constraints

• Mandatory to place at least one order to be a winner
• 5% of the portfolio must be held to facilitate order placement; a portfolio cannot be more than 95% exposed.
• No single position can represent more than 30% of the portfolio.

Updating of Financial Instrument Quotations

• Stocks are updated hourly according to stock exchange opening hours.
• Cryptocurrencies are updated hourly, 24/7.
• Funds are updated based on the last received Net Asset Value (NAV).

Arbitrage, Orders, and Management

• Arbitrage (allocation modifications) is authorized at any time during the championship.
• Arbitrage transactions are executed at the Net Asset Value or price displayed at the time the order is placed.
• No fictitious entry fees, exit fees, or management fees are applied to arbitrage transactions.

Ranking and Performance

• Participants are ranked based on the gross performance of their portfolio as of December 5, 2025, at midnight.
• In the event of a tie in gross performance, the participant with the lowest volatility over the period will be declared the winner.

Compliance with the Framework

• Any non-compliance with allocation rules, risk profile, or instrumentation may result in the cancellation of performance and/or exclusion of the participant.
• The organizer reserves the right to verify the conformity of arbitrage transactions carried out.

The update frequency depends on the asset type:

Stocks and Cryptocurrencies: Prices are continuously updated, with an hourly reflection in your portfolio.

Investment Funds (UCITS): Valuation is based on the Net Asset Value (NAV). This is updated once a day, according to the publication schedules specific to each management company.

What are the rules for executing my orders?
To ensure the realism of the competition, execution rules vary depending on the markets:

1. Stocks (Stock Exchange)

Availability: Orders can only be executed during the opening hours of the relevant stock exchanges.

Execution Price: The price used is the one displayed at the precise moment your order is validated.

Display: For technical processing reasons, the operation will be visible in your portfolio 24 hours after execution.

2. Cryptocurrencies

Availability: The crypto market never sleeps; you can place your orders 24/7.

Execution Price: The price used is the one displayed when the order is placed.

Display: The purchase will be visible in your inventory after a 24-hour delay.

3. Funds (UCITS)

Execution Price: The Net Asset Value (NAV) taken into account is the one displayed on the platform at the time you place the order.

Display: As with other assets, the integration of the line into your portfolio is effective within 24 hours.

No. This championship is designed to highlight portfolios that show positive performance. Portfolios with negative performance are hidden until they return to positive.

Select the order type (buy or sell). Choose the fund or security concerned from the displayed list. Indicate either the amount in euros or the percentage of remaining cash, according to your preference. Click the “Place Order” button to submit your request.

Yes, to ensure sound portfolio management, a purchase limit is set so that you retain at least 5% of your cash. If you exceed this amount, an alert will inform you of the maximum authorized purchase amount. Additionally, no single position can represent more than 30% of the portfolio.

After placing an order, it is recorded with a “pending” status. Order validation is scheduled 24 hours after submission. An alert will notify you of the validation with the scheduled date and time.

For this edition, we have decided not to use portfolio volatility in the rankings.
