Socially Responsible Investment (SRI) is an investment approach that combines financial criteria with environmental, social, and governance (ESG) factors in the security selection process, as well as in investment monitoring and engagement. The objective of SRI is not only to achieve a financial return but also to contribute to the creation of a more sustainable and fairer world. Investors can choose to invest in companies that meet specific social and environmental criteria or in sectors that support socially responsible causes, such as sustainable development, financial inclusion for disadvantaged populations, support for small businesses, etc.
